Kipling Keylock -Team Leader

Kipling Keylock is a local businessman originally from Calgary. Pursuing the family business, he attended a four-year program at SAIT, and obtained his Journeyman Electrician certificate. Shortly thereafter, he completed his Master Electrician Program and currently holds an FSR Red Seal ticket in BC.
Over the course of his eventful career, and due to his variety of interests in business, he has had a role in the success of several ventures.
Kip and his wife Catherine have made the Comox Valley home and enjoy the lifestyle it offers- water, sun, and even snow. Kip has been able to focus on the development business that he has pursued most of his adult life, along with the support of a team of experts working with OED. His experience in land development has been recognized in Alberta, British Columbia, and as far as the Islands of Hawaii. Kip believes that relationships and attention to detail bring him and his talented team success. His goal is to provide a superior product that stands out in its form and quality, and meets the ever changing demands that the real estate market brings.

Catherine Keylock - Head of the Design Team

Catherine (Cat) Keylock has brought her diverse design skills to the group and is using her detail abilities on all new Ocean Estate projects. She has recently expanded her responsibilities to those of Coordinator of all Renovations, Staging and Construction related assignments.

Cat is currently working with local builders and developers, assisting with design, layout, color selections and furniture plans for show homes and spec homes in the Comox Valley. This along with her own renovation business, allows her to use her creative skills she is well known for.

Staging for homes, commercial spaces or seasonal events are currently available along with her large inventory of furniture and related items. The end results are unique and dazzling with appeal to all that visit one of her sites.

She is presently working on a 'before and after' section to her website and will update it regularly with new photos of current projects. Make sure to visit her studio section as well where you will be exposed to her shabby chic furniture restoration projects (also known as her signature pieces), her fused glass, sculptures and other mediums that are used to complete various projects as well as homes of family and friends.
