Kipling Keylock -Team Leader
Kipling Keylock is a born and raised, Calgarian. Pursuing the family business, he attended a four-year program at SAIT, and obtained his Journeyman Electrician certificate. Shortly thereafter, he completed his Master Electrician Program.
Over the course of his eventful career, and due to his vast interest in business, he has had an instrumental role in the success of the following ventures:
- The Installer, a high end Electronics company that supplied and installed residential and commercial systems.
-Zap Electric , specializing in commercial electrical projects
- Penta Corporation, a property development company building condominiums.
- Oceanview Developments, a home builder on Maui, Hawaii.
- Velocity Ventures, an oil & gas exploration company in central Alberta
- An Art Gallery in Calgary, servicing the corporate world through sales and leasing of fine art.
Some of the past responsibilities, and volunteer organizations he enjoys spending time with are:
- Past president of the BMW Calgary Car Club
- Past president of the Calgary Mountain Bike Association
- National Representative of the International Mountain Bike Association.
- High Performance Driving Instructor at Calgarys Race City Motorsports, and Porsche Club of America DE Instructor.
Kip, his wife Catherine and son Chad , have recently come to the Comox Valley in search of the "ultimate lifestyle". His love of water, sun, and even snow , has given him the desire to carry on his passion for development that he has pursued most of his adult life. His experience in land development has been recognized in Alberta, British Columbia, and as far as the Islands of Hawaii. Kip believes that attention to detail, including the people, not just the land, is what will bring him and his talented team the success and high standards they strive for. As Team leader, his goal is to provide a product that stands out in its form and quality. He claims to be 'leading edge, cutting edge, and often over the edge .. we welcome edge'.
Catherine Keylock - Community Liaison
Hello! My name is Catherine Keylock and I am the Community Liaison for Ocean Estates Developments. My responsibilities encompass making sure that you, the new Resident get all the necessary information to make your entire experience with us a most pleasant one.
Building a home can be a bit daunting at times. Several choices need to be made, often times on short notice. Let us help you through this process.
